With a view to improve safety and appearance of the mainstreet an upgrade is underway.

Jointly funded by the Shire of Boddington and Royalties for Regions, a Western Australian Government Initiative, this project involves improving the safety and appearance of the mainstreet of Boddington by developing an off-street parking lot, improving on-street parking and providing a Road Train turn-around and parking area.
Estimated completion date for this upgrade 1 November 2010.
